Following my graduation from The University of Colorado Boulder in spring 2024, I purchased the Canon EOS R50, and spent the summer in New York City. These are the photos I took at the One World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial. In just a week after taking these photos, I moved to Japan to attend the IUC Yokohama 10-Month Program. The photos remind me of a simpler time, when I spent my days wondering what my new life in Japan would be like. Being reminded of those whose lives were ended early in the 9/11 attacks, the photos give me a greater appreciation for the lifestyle I sometimes take for granted, and all of the opportunities I have been blessed with.
